International Coaching Week
International Coaching Week (ICW) was originally founded in 1999 by ICF member Jerri N. Udelson, MCC, the ICF promotes International Coaching Week each year and encourages both members and chapters to hold special events during this period.
WHAT: The members of the Miami Area chapter of the International Coach Federation (ICF) will offer free coaching sessions in honor of International Coaching Week, February 7 – 13.
Coaching is partnering with clients to compel personal transformation through thought-provoking dialogue. ICF Credentialed coaches use a variety of tools and techniques to release creativity and inspire clients to meet their personal and professional goals. Coaches work with clients in areas such as career, transition, life/personal, executive, small business and organizational/corporate. As a result of coaching, clients may set better goals, take more action, make better decisions, and more fully use their natural strengths.

ICF has more than 16,100 members in over 94 countries and was responsible for establishing the first independent credentialing program for coaches, which is now recognized worldwide.
WHY: During International Coaching Week, select members of the Miami Area ICF will celebrate by educating the public on the benefits of the coaching process and illustrating the value coaching can bring to peoples’ lives.
